Timetoast Evaluation guide
For Question 1 I will be using Prezi because it is a very long question with lots of theory involved. Prezi is a very entertaining technology and having it on Prezi will entertain the audience and stop them from getting bored.
Question 2 will be on Emaze because it has many interesting themes and I could pick the theme that compliments the question and this will again keep the audience entertained.
Question 3 will be on Movie Maker and this is something I will be using for the first time in media although I have used Movie maker outside of media. This is a great technology as it is like a youtube video and the audience does not need to change slides as you can add the amount of seconds you want to be on the slide for and also add music in the background to keep the audience satisfied.
The last evaluation question will be on Wix.com. This is because question 4 is a creative question and I have never used this technology which means I can use it and get creative with it.

Editing Process
In today's lesson I carried on editing the inside cover of the CD. I wanted the gold theme to carry on however the shadow I added was black. Although it looked okay I didnt like how it was mostly black. What I have done to achieve the gold background is;
- Download a gold background
- Change the image setting to 'Lighten'
- Put the layer on top of all the other layers.
- The gold colour covered the cd which meant I used the rubber tool to rub off all the areas on the CD and left the colour on the shadow.

Editing
I downloaded white shadow png from google images and lightened it on photoshop and placed it behind the BMTH logo on my cd to make the logo stand out. This is because the band logo is written in black and I changed the colour of the CD to a smokey gray and it was blending in with each other and by using this method I can separate the two.
Starting the Inside cover
In today's lesson I started to photoshop the image I wanted to use on the inside cover, In addition I also started the CD. I wanted the CD to be black with a shadowy effect so I downloaded a gold shadow from google images, changed the colour setting to linear burn so that it become transparent without the white background, and the golden colour changed to blackish colour. The fact that the cd is black suits my theme because the image im using is brighter than the rest of the album which means it will gain more attention.

Starting my Advert
In today's lesson I started my advert on PhotoShop. I wanted my advert to be A3 because I have better photography however I was told to make is A4 which I didn't mind. I wanted to use this photo in particular because it compliments the genre. By using the main singer I will attract more customers because more people would be aware of the band, unlike the CD I did not use it because it is more aimed at loyal fans.

Progress
Today, I added details such as the company name of the producer, links fuck as facebook and twitter, the cd number, the track names and the spine. So far I like what I have done as I wanted it to be black and white however I wanted to add a touch of colour by adding a blue shaded effect on the statues cheekbones. I will be doing an experiment where I put a golden coloured filter on top of the cd cover and see how it looks because my case studies used some sort of golden colour.

Experiment
After having mixed thoughts about the blurred font, I have put the two versions together and asked people which one preferred. The simple text or the blurred one and the majority of the people preferred the simple one. I changed the font back to the original one.
Editing
I have been using the Burn tool and the Dodge tool to contour the statues face. The areas where the light hits, I used the dodge tool to make it brighter. The areas where the darkness is I used to burn tool to make it darker. In addition, I used the burn tool around the eyes to make them stand out. I also used to tool in certain areas to make it look like the statue has cracks because it matches the theme. I used to dodge tool around the burn tool to make it look more 3D and add depth.
Adding Font
In today's lesson I added to font to my CD cover. I used illustrator to create my font because I wanted the width of the text to be low and the texts to be spaced out. Instead of using photoshop, illustrator was a lot more easier to use. When I added it on photoshop, I used the blur and smudge tool to blend in the text with my background because I had the same gray background on the text. I then used the smudge tool to smudge the text itself which I did not plan to do however I thought it complimented the whole grudge dark theme.
